Berkeley Design Collective was a project with the goal of redefining college apparel through a contemporary lens. With UC Berkeley being such a STEM focused institution, the spotlight is never given to the artistic and creative student body. Berkeley Design Collective is created by Berkeley students for Berkeley students. It gives a sense of community to those who appreciate design in a school where design isn’t the area of focus.

For Season 2 I wanted to orient our collection towards a very significant part of student culture: Cal Athletics. Sport teams and athletes are the foundation of what makes school spirit on campus so strong.
