AbOUT the project

Art Of War was imagined while reading the ancient writings of the same name and realizing that the knowledge it contained remained relevant to urban culture today. It was an experimental project with the aim of perfecting timeless silhouettes in a sustainable and ethical manner. Art of War combined 90’s hip hop fashion identity in New York City with my personal interpretations of streetwear. The collection consisted of five garments including both women’s and menswear. My partner Luke and I are responsible for everything from pattern making, sample creation, fabric sourcing, and production planning. Every article of clothing was handmade in Brooklyn, NYC.
