Malabar New York
For Malabar’s debut of Naniloa, I created a launch film shaped by the brand’s understated, Gen-Z-driven approach to fragrance—organic, inclusive, and rooted in the rhythms of Brooklyn. I directed, shot, casted, and edited the project, allowing the visuals and narrative to evolve with a cohesive tone.
The film opens with a subtle, playful twist—a thief slipping away with the fragrance before the story softens into a romantic moment—mirroring the contrast and range of the people Malabar speaks to. The final piece captures Naniloa as something that moves effortlessly between personalities and moods, carried by the city and the individuals who make it their own.
